The Kevin Wheeler article is telling us two things.

1) Companies will need a few internal recruiters advising the decision maker on AI assisted generated sourced candidates while hand-holding the candidate through the hiring process.

2) 3rd party agency recruiters become obsolete as there's no part of the process they're required. with no business justification paying them.

Decision makers sourcing candidates doing the work of external recruiters, internal recruiters assisting them ensuring process effectiveness doing the work of external recruiters.

External recruiters will have lots of time on their hands to 'find themselves.'
